We are thrilled and proud to announce that the Moroccan Esports Association (MESA) is officially an Associate Member of the International Esports Federation (IESF).

This new membership allows MESA and IESF to open new collaboration bridges between the two organizations in order to promote Esports in Morocco and its inclusion in the world Esports scene. It also means that IESF will support MESA in its consistent efforts to make Moroccan Esports reach new heights.

MESA joining the IESF constitutes an exceptional and additional big step forward for Esports in Morocco, with the list of partners believing in MESA’s projects steadily growing, and which already includes Korean agency JUEGO, World Esports Consortium (WESCO) and Global Esports Federation (GEF).

The International Esports Federation, founded in 2008, has its headquarters in Busan, South Korea, with the purpose of promoting Esports around the world as a true sport beyond barriers, and working on behalf of its more than 90 member nations, and is backed by major video game industry and tech companies such as Valve and Konami. Most importantly, IESF endorses a series of international Esports competitions and qualifiers leading to the IESF Esports World Championships, their annual flagship Esports event since 2009. The latest edition took place in Seoul on December 2019, with member nations competing in Dota 2, eFootball PES 2020 and Tekken 7, and saw Japan crowned as the overall world champions.

Please stay tuned by following us on our official Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts, as we will share our upcoming plans regarding this membership soon!
