We are glad and proud to announce that the Moroccan Esports Association (MESA) is officially a member of the Global Esports Federation (GEF).

Through this partnership, MESA and GEF not only confirm their shared vision of Esports, but also their commitment to work together to promote, support and develop the Esports ecosystem in Morocco and the region as a whole. Moreover, GEF believes in MESA as a strong partner in leveraging the key national resources and assets toward fulfilling joint goals.

This new membership marks an exciting new milestone for MESA and Esports in Morocco, adding up to solid new international partnerships established with Korean JUEGO, World Esports Consortium (WESCO), and paving a way to greater achievements for the Moroccan Esports scene.

The Global Esports Federation, created in 2019, has its headquarters in Singapore. It seeks to promote credibility, legitimacy and prestige of Esports, and already counts more than 70 member nations, several international Olympic sports federations, and is backed by major video game industry and tech companies such as Tencent, and world-renowned athletes such as Japanese Street Fighter V ace Hajime Taniguchi aka. Tokido. GEF is planning a series of international competitions, with the Global Esports Games (GEG) as their annual flagship Esports event.

We can’t wait to share with you more details of our future plans, but stay tuned by following us on our official Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts.
